Review of the month:

Patxi's (hayes valley deep dish pizza)

rating:                                             (scale of 1 to 5 chairs)

Thumbs up to Patxi's. I have dined here 5 times and it is consistently
fabulous.""I have one word to sum up my experience.
PHENOMENAL!!
The deep dish pizza we ordered was absolutely insanely delicious.
The texture of the whole wheat crust was just right, the tomatoe
topping was neither too sweet nor too tart and the consistency was
spot on. Plenty of cheese. (the more the merrier!). Go for the Patxi's
special--sausage, mushroom and onions--and if you are splurging
go ahead and add the pepperoni.

GREAT, friendly service. Give some of the newbies a break. They
are trying their best--they are not bitter, and they never give you
attitude. Plus, come on guys, it's not as if you are dining at Gary
Danko. The place is CLEAN. You can pre-order and grab a beer at
a local neighborhood pub.  A perfect way to whet your appetite,
which you will need here. It's very filling. It's only pizza!!!!
